Boltini is the reason why genetic manipulation is still illegal. A genetically modified creation, he was made to be the perfect living being. A mixture of DNA from many different races, his creator sought to bring unity to the galaxy. He failed.
He succeeded as far as Boltini's intelligence was concerned. Boltini is an extremely talented scientist and cook. Unfortunately, he suffers from multiple personality disorder and the fact that he is utterly insane.
Boltini's creator sent him to Starfleet Academy, not knowing that Boltini had long ago forgotten his creator's dream. Boltini showed great aptitude in many things, but was mischievious. Boltini was on the verge of being expelled for filling the President of the Federation's office with pie filling when he disappeared from Earth.
In actuality he was recruited by Section 31. But they didn't know his true potential either, or his propensity for evil. His first and only assignment put him behind enemy lines in the Romulan Empire. He served as a spy for many years until the outbreak of the Dominion War. Section 31 abruptly cut off all contact with Boltini who was discovered and taken by operatives of the Tal Shiar.
Tortured and imprisoned alone for years Boltini's darker more sinister personalities began to take hold. He escaped in the most horrible way ever, by eating his guards. All of them. It took him several weeks. The Romulans have since denied any knowledge of Boltini.
Boltini escaped into the Kligon Empire where he quickly learned to fight with a Bat'leth. He was imprisoned for a murder at a Bat'leth tournament but escaped under mysterious circumstances. He was imprisoned briefly again when it was discovered that he was plotting to cook the High Chancillor in a light white wine sauce.
After being expelled from the Empire Boltini drifted aimlessly for a while. His name quickly rose to the top of many planet's most wanted lists. Boltini was running out of places to hide when he met a man named Keyser in the darkest bar on Ferenginar.
Keyser immediately recognized Boltini and took him under his wing. They have been causing trouble for the Federation ever since, but Boltini does not trust Keyser. Boltini is always plotting to take over the galaxy.
The best analog to Boltini might be The Joker from the Batman comic books. At times he can be laughably comical. He can be positively slapstick. At other times he is absolutely insane, totally unpredictable, and completely homicidal. He would just as soon cook you as throw a pie at you.
Boltini has a hook and an eye patch. he never lost an eye, but saw a picture of General Chanq once, thought it looked cool and bolted a piece of metal to his face.
In 2366, at the height of the Borg crisis, saved his fellow crewmembers and ship when a Borg ship caught the ship with shields down. Once visual communications were established, NAH flexed his fianchettoes in full view of the Borg, causing them to flee in sheer terror.
In 2368, the Fried Liver encountered a mad duplicate of NAH's younger brother, D., created in a bizarre transporter malfunction involving a food fight with stale pepperoni (don't ask, please don't ask). This replica claimed a certain breed of rabbits are really mice. The replica seized the ship by threatening to drown the entire crew in tuna casserole if they refused to take him to the Romulan homeworld to present his "findings" to the Praetor in person, along with his recommendation that ships with food names be outlawed.
Fortunately, NAH was able to talk him out of his demands ("You really don't want to do this, D.-wanna-be") after several hours, but was regrettably unable to talk him out of his psychotic notions.
Promoted to commander for his work in this crisis.
Promoted to chief science officer, 2370, as a result of his outstanding role in the Guaca crisis. While orbiting the planet Guaca IV, the U.S.S. Fried Liver somehow managed to enter a transhyperdimensional quasi-portal to a universe where the only life forms possible are eggplants and wombats, and no one can live for more than 52 minutes (about 45 minutes today, what with increased commercials and all). When the ranking science officer, Sbob, refused to attempt to return the ship to normal space until he could determine whether it was more logical to stay a wombat or to return and play cricket, NAH studied the sensor records himself. He realized that the portal had been caused by the freak coincidence of a crew member replicating a book about string theory at the same time a shockwave from a supernova 500 light-years away reached the ship's antimatter pods. By split-second timing of firing ship's phasers with shields up to recreate the shock wave as the 8-year-old son of the CMO re-replicated the book, NAH was able to return the ship to this universe 3 seconds before the death of all aboard. (The ship was not yet out of danger, because for some obscurely unimaginable metaphysical reason, photon torpedoes apparently qualified as special life forms that could only turn into wombats. Crew members were stumbling over torpedoes in the hallways for days afterward.)
Transferred to Scummit in 2377 as chief science officer.

Current Assignment: USS Vanguard, modified Intrepid Class, Second in
command (present)
Previous Assignment(s): USS London, Oberth Class, Third Technician
(2282-2290)
Covert Assignment(s): Section 31, USS Lynx, stealth modified Nova Class, Captain (present)
Bio:
Born in 2264 in the UK, AdamJ was never the acedemy type (too much
flirting, not enough study) - but did have a smart head on his shoulders.
After many years of struggling at an ordinary school, he decided to enter
the academy and progressed very well until it came to taking his final
exams (the before exam party went on a bit too long and too much romulan
ale...). After getting a marginal pass, AdamJ was assigned to work as
third technician on board the USS London. This task involved making sure
the replicators worked and keeping the corridors clean. During a routine
scanning mission, the ship was attacked by a Klingon Cruiser commanded by
Keyser Soze, his sworn enemy (they picked fights after class - they picked
one and then started betting against each other). After a bitter struggle,
Keyser crashed his D-7 into the Obeth Class ship and both ships were
stranded and disabled. AdamJs quick thinking saved the USS London however.
He rigged up his vaccuum cleaner with the replicator and produced a
temporal anomaly which threw his ship 100 years into the future. (Does
technobabble ever make sense?)
Unfortunately, Keyser had already beamed over with his band of marauders
and were also thrown ahead in time.
They were eventually rescued by Admiral Hawthorne on board the USS Vanguard (Keyser escaped), where AdamJ quickly rose to second-in-command. He never gives up his old uniform though. Nothing to do with holding onto the past, or the honour of wearing the uniform - he just likes it.
Thankfully, an academy fire had destroyed his exam records and he was assumed a genius - hopefully, nobody will find out he was just the cleaner guy. (damn, shouldn't have wrote it in the bio... )
He also now also works for section 31, where he met his partner SJ of 9, an ex-borg with a passion for hair and flirting - no problems getting back to humanity there.
He also sometimes commands the USS Lynx, a modified Nova Class specially "aquired" by S31. It is armed with sensor deflecting Stealth technology and hull mounted holoemitters so the ship can assume any form, upgraded pulse phaser banks and a micro-quantum torpedo launcher hidden underneath. The ship is infrequently used as to maintain its covert nature, but is more than efficient when deployed.
Covert Assignment(s): Director of Section 31 from Stardate 2285 – Stardate 2292
Achievements: Medal of honor for her rescue of 15 Bajorans from a Cardassian camp, highest commendation for proficiency in all areas of weaponry and tactical knowledge, special recognition from Starfleet Command for her creation of a coffee mug that will never tip over during a ship-to-ship fight in space, Purple heart for being wounded while rescuing a family during a fight with The Borg during Wolf 359
Ann Hawthorne graduated from Starfleet Academy on the track to becoming a career counselor for one of the many Constitution Class ships Starfleet had in the Federation’s fleet. She was number 3 in the top ten and was beat out only by a Betazoid and Vulcan. Her biggest dream was to become counselor for the USS Enterprise whenever Counselor Troi finally decided to step down, but Hawthorne was in no hurry to see such a legendary counselor leave.
At the prompting of Admiral Paris, Hawthorne’s first assignment was the USS Al-Batoni, much to her great joy as it was the launching point of her favorite captain, Kathryn Janeway. She was a greatly received and a very proficient counselor, but, when the Al-Batoni was attacked by the Cardassians during her second year there, she was placed in a very difficult situation. The entire crew was captured, including her captain, and placed in a holding camp on an obscure moon. Hawthorne was assigned as the slave girl for the main Cardassian leader after it was decided that the female counselor was absolutely no threat at all. Hawthorne managed to secure vital information from the Cardassians regarding ship placement and other camps such as hers while plotting an escape plan and destruction of the camp while acting as though she was as harmless as they all thought she was. After three months of work and agony, Hawthorne freed the prisoners, took the important data for Starfleet, and destroyed the camp leaving little behind to leave evidence the camp had been destroyed at all thanks to her ingenuity at creating a holographic projection and false readings to show the Cardassians that the camp was still running thus giving her and the rest of the escaped prisoners time to return safely to Starfleet space.
Upon her return to Starfleet, Section 31 picked her upon hearing of how she handled the Cardassians. She was trained in weaponry and her knowledge of how people think and how to analyze and use that to her advantage was utilized. It took her only 5 months to master every weapon and tactic Section 31 had to offer and, after another 3 years, she was promoted to second in charge of Section 31 and Lt. Commander. Two years later, and many fulfilled assignments which still remain classified, Hawthorne was promoted to head of Section 31 with a full promotion to Commander.
After five years service as head of Section 31, Hawthorne put in a request to be relieved of the position and given a captaincy on a Constitution Class ship for the Federation. Section 31 agreed only upon Commander Hawthorne agreeing to continue work for the Section whenever she was needed.
Starfleet promoted Commander Hawthorne to Captain in 2293 for outstanding service and was given command of the USS Intrepid. The commission lasted until Wolf 359 when the ship was boarded by the Borg. During a fire fight with drones, Captain Hawthorne put her life on the line to save a family of children by putting them in a small escape shuttle and her self in another and giving the Borg every reason to follow her. The family escaped unharmed, but Captain Hawthorne was captured by the Borg and partially assimilated. Full assimilation did not take place because of an odd chemical found in the Captain’s blood stream that is, to this day, unknown to any regular channels of Starfleet medical.
Most of the Borg implants that she incurred were removed by Starfleet doctors, but there is still a small Borg star on her right hand, which she has a tendency to keep hidden. She was awarded a purple heart for her bravery and promoted to Admiral.
She remained at Starfleet Headquarters during the Dominion War as counsel for the home base, and after a four year break at the end of the war where she taught Shakespeare and 20th century United States Literature at the Academy, Hawthorne requested another assignment to captain a ship. She was given the USS Vanguard with special modifications such as Borg enhanced technology from the newly arrived USS Voyager.
Admiral Hawthorne is quick but silent. She’s developed a keen sense of how to read people from both her degree of specialization and her time spent in the field and often knows what will happen before most can think about it. She’s got a strong personality built of much hardship, but has been known to play mother figure to her crew when needed. She often seems irrational to her advisories due to her snap decision making in heated situations but, more often than not, will follow the Prime Directive, unless it needs to be bent a bit. She has no objections to hearing suggestions and following through with them from the rest of her crew, but, if something isn’t going to suit her, she will step in make the final call.
She prefers to be called Captain or ma’am despite both her rank and Starfleet protocol, and has been known to try and take on too much responsibility for her crew’s safety often putting her self in danger instead of putting her ship in danger. She is a coffee addict thanks to her time spent working a desk for hours on end, and she is well known within the ranks of Starfleet. She has good relations with officers from Admiral Owen Paris to Captain Jean-Luc Picard to her personal hero Admiral Kathryn Janeway.
At present, her ship is following up on a mission to find Keyser Soze and bring him to the Federation Counsel for judgment for crimes against the Federation and it’s people. The pursuit has been going on for many months with many stalemates. Admiral Hawthorne has vowed to bring this enemy of the Federation to Justice.
He is the enigma.
Mr boltini described The Keyser best when he said "You're a bloody nutter you are!"
After escaping from the crash of a puny, insignificant federation vessel (the fact that The Keyser was a prisoner on said vessel is a mere irrelevance), The Keyser travelled the outer reaches of the Galaxy, searching for inspiration. He found it in the guise of a gigantic abandoned Alien Battle Cruiser, with bloody big guns, which he named the Teminator (he subsequently wished he'd named it the Obliterator, but once things are done it's too late.)
Anyway, after a few years of plundering federation vessels for their 'cargo' The Keyser decided that Riches and wealth weren't everything. He needed to inflict pain and suffering on people. He encountered a fellow soul on Feringar - boltini3000. He was working in a cocktail bar, producing the most obnoxious drinks The Keyser had ever seen. Instantly The Keyser recognised a key ally, and introduced him to the wonders of the Alien Battle Cruiser. Since then, boltini and The Keyser have been recruiting nameless slaves for sport, and occasionally performing other evil deeds.
Achievements: Graduated top of his class, received honors for quick thinking during the Dominion War. Chekov metal for tactical precession
PG15 joined the the crew of the USS Melinno 2 years after graduation, in which time he worked for Starfleet as a test pilot. While on the first Voyage of the Melinno, the ship was attacked by a mysterous orange-skinned, big-eared species. He was one of only 21 survivors to reach Starbase 125 in escape pod. Soon after, PG tried for the post of junior tactical officer on the USS Melborne, in which he received the Chekov metal for tactical precession.
In 2367, PG took a vacation on Risa, where he overheard the fate of his ship in the battle of Wolf 359, receiving in turn a deep hatred of the borg that he has kept in check for a long time.
He was ushered in the Section 31 in 2370 to command the USS Borneo, a refitted Runabout to further infect the founders with a more potent form of the pathogen in order to infect all of the founders.
In 2375, PG first met the Keyser, when he tried to destroy the USS Vancouver, and succeded, PG was again one of the lucky ones that was able to escape, unfortunately for him, he was the soul survivor.
1 year later, after a whole year of therapy resulted from a sudden eruption in a bar when the feeling regarding Wolf 359 and the death of his comrades on board the USS Vancouver suddenly was released, PG met the Keyser again, this time along side his new friend, NAH, they were able to hide in the atmosphere of Tetras III to fool the sensors on the enemy ship.
Finally, in 2378, he was ushered onto the USS Vanguard, where he became the tactical officer we all know and love today.
Bio: Very little is known about the background of the freelance adventurer who calls himself GeorgeKirk. He travels the galaxy in his small, heavily modified ship, the S.S. Triton City, named for the hometown of the popular 21st century comic book hero Sunbird. Like AdamJ, GK sometimes seems stuck in the 23rd century. He is often seen wearing an old-style Starfleet officer's bomber jacket sans insignia, and he always carries a 2280s-style phaser pistol and flip-top communicator.
At the height of the Dominion War, GK (who was going by the pseudonym Sando Ravor at the time) used the Triton City to smuggle two Starfleet officers behind enemy lines and rescue Starfleet Intelligence operative T'Laren from a Cardassian labor camp. The operation took an unexpected detour when GK learned that notorious Cardassian torturer Gul Madred was at the camp. He risked blowing the group's cover when he tracked down Madred and killed him. In so doing, he almost brought the camp's security forces down on them, but with luck the group was able to escape with T'Laren. The leader of the Starfleet task force angrily demanded an explanation from GK, who retorted that risking their lives to kill the infamous war criminal was the only moral thing to do. This kind of behavior has earned GK a reputation as a loose cannon.
After the war, GK met up with his old friend Admiral Hawthorne and the USS Vanguard during the Mosquito Deleto incident in the Rhombiod-Dronhager sector, and she persuaded him to stay onboard as a Civilian Specialist. Although the two are sometimes at odds because GK tends to interpret the Admiral's orders loosely when he feels like it, there's a great deal of mutual respect there. The rest of the Vanguard's crew was initially wary of the self-described scruffy-looking nerf herder, but he has since proved his worth and earned the admiration of all aboard the USS Vanguard.
Information: Kithplana Precatt was born on Earth, in a small town near San Francisco, California. It was mostly her proximity to Starfleet Headquarters that led her to apply for the Academy, since otherwise she would never have considered a career in Starfleet. Her first assignment was the U.S.S. Anaed in 2371, where she served as a nurse. She contracted an alien disease while on board the Anaed, which brought her to the brink of death. The medications administered did not work, and she died in sickbay. Much to the surprise of everyone in the room, she came back to life in apparently good health within a few minutes. Kithplana was declared to be in perfect health after a thorough medical scan.
Kithplana discovered her body's regenerative capabilities by accident shortly after her miraculous recovery, when she was grazed by a flying dermal regenerator during one of the Anaed's battles with hostile Ferengi. Only after the battle, when she remembered her wound, did she realize that it was barely more than a scratch after two hours. This led her to conduct tests and prove that her body could indeed regenerate itself.
Kithplana changed her name to Ensign Who Dies Every Episode for an unknown reason* in 2373.
Soon after her name change, EWDEE joined Admiral Hawthorne's crew as a medic. She has served as a medic on several missions in which Hawthorne's crew were involved.
* It is widely believed, by those who actually care, that Kithplana was drunk when she decided to change her name.
Nibbles joined Starfleet Academy after spending three years working in the business district of the Mars colony. She had been considering such a job transfer for many years prior, but was waiting for the right opprotunity and, after getting a scholarship and a personal invitation from one of the leading Comander in Starfleet - a one Ann Hawthorne whom she had never met - she decided to take the plunge and try out for the academy in the field of computer technology.
It was a positive move for the young Nibbles who quickly became a shining student at the academy in her chosen field. It took her only three years to finish out both the officers program and the adavanced technology program that would not doubt put her on a track to chief engineer in a starship one day.
She graduated with honors from The Academy and was highly sought after by many chief engineers as a very promising officer. She served aboard the USS Constelation where she was promoted for her outstanding work in repairing and increasing the efficency of her ship's warp systems and computer mainframe. After three years service there, she transferred to Utopia Planetia where she helped work on building a ship that later would be called Voyager and lost for several years. During the Dominion War, she was one of the few engineers who helped work on incoming ships the Utopia Planetia after they came back from the front lines.
In 2300, Lt. Nibbles was requested to be an officer aboard the USS Vangaurd to serve under Admiral Hawthorne. Nibbles was delighted to do so she wanted to have a chance to thank the Admiral for her recommendation to Starfleet Academy years before, and she wanted a chance to find out why and how Hawthorne had known about her.
Nibbles is currently in San Fransico, California, Earth awaiting the finalized building of the USS Vangaurd-A and Admiral Hawthorne's call to tell her to come back on baord ship. She is a fine officer and is up for a promotion very soon if everything pans out well.
Anna started out in the medical track following the example of another doctor, Beverly Crusher, whom she met while visiting Starfleet Academy. Anna was uncertain as to what she wanted her field to be, but she knew she wanted to help people and she wanted to do it on a starship. While walking about the campus, she encountered Dr. Crusher who was waiting for her son Wesley outside one of the many residence halls on campus. They engaged in a converstaion where Dr. Crusher told Anna what it was like to be a doctor on board the Enterprise. After hearing that description and meeting with and talking to the famous docotor, Anna decided that she wanted to be a doctor.
While in the Academy, Anna helped Dr. Lewis Zimmerman with a prototype of a holographic doctor that would be used as a suppliment to the regular medical staff during emergancy situations. She was not on the project long as Dr. Zimmerman lacked the paitence to deal with such a green cadet, but he noted that she had a lot of potential to be an "adequate doctor" - high praise from the doctor.
Anna gradutaed in 2288 in the top 10 percent of her class and was assigned as a nurse to the USS Washington. She shined, and the chief resident took her under his wing to teach her everything he knew. He made comment in her records that she was "compassionate... I've never seen anyone so dedicated to the well-being and wellfare of their people like Ensign Anna is. She's young, but I don't think it will take anytime at all for her to move up the ranks if she continues on the path she's in. I know she's not in it for the rank; it's obvious she's in it to help people, but, with an attitude like that, I think she deserves to be leading people." Such high praise did not go unnoticed from Starfleet and Anna was promoted through the ranks to Commander in record time.
After being on the USS Washington through the Dominion War, Anna decided to take a break and work at Starfleet Academy teaching students what she had learned while working in the field. While she was there, she met Admiral Ann Hawthorne. They came to quickly respect each other, and Admiral Hawthorne was impressed by Anna's determination, commitment, and compassion.
In 2300, Anna was requested to join the crew of the USS Vangaurd captioned by Admiral Hawthorne. Anna agreed and became the Chief Resident on baord. She now spends her time caring for her fellow crewmembers and watching the admiral whom, she fears, may revert back to her Borg state at any given time if the admiral does not constantly maintain her health. Anna had made it a personal goal of hers to make sure this does not happen.
Makurosu was raised in a humble home until age 11 when the government realized that he was "gifted". Placed in a facility with other "gifted" children, Makurosu spent most of his time undergoing tests and training to both explore and hone his powers. These skills served to feed his ego, and warp his sense of morality.
A fateful afternoon in his 15th year, Makurosu managed to break free from the hidden government facility and went on a rampage of wanton destruction. The Federation threw their best troopers into the streets of the nearby city to end the destruction, but to no avail. Their weapons exploded in their own hands, and were turned against them.
But without the proper treatment, Makurosu was soon unable to control his powers. He grew into a shapeless blob that engulfed everything around him. For the first time scared, he pled for help. But it was hopeless....or was it? Hours went by, and finally Makurosu encompassed all that was. The world was swallowed in his presence, all life was reduced to a state of goo, and the balance between man and nature was restored. Life could begin again....
Naturally, popularity of the Makurosu story demanded a sequel. But no, Makurosu had evolved. How could he be in the next movie? And so the reset button, combined with complete disregard of continuity, Makurosu became your average maniacal villain. His desire to be chief among them created a hatred strong for his co-villains, but not enough so that it would override his desire to eradicate the Order. Makurosu sometimes teams with the other Evil Ones, but is always on the lookout for ways to betray them
